Privacy Policy

How we collect, store, use, and protect your data and event photos.

Last updated: July 2026

1

Data we collect

We collect account information (email, name when you sign in), event details (event name, settings), and photos uploaded by you or your guests. If you subscribe, we process subscription payments via Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.

2

Google Sign-In

Event organizers may sign in with Google Sign-In (or email). Guests who upload photos do not need a Google account. When you use Google Sign-In, we receive your Google account name, email address, and profile picture (if available). We use this information only to create and authenticate your organizer account and to operate Quick Pic QR (create events, manage galleries, view gallery, and download photos). We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or access other Google services (such as Drive, Gmail, or Photos) on your behalf.

3

Storage and retention

Photo files are stored in Cloudflare R2. Metadata (event, upload time, storage references) is stored in Convex. By default, event data and photos are retained according to your event settings; a subscription lets you download and extend retention. After the retention period, we delete the data from both R2 and Convex.

4

How we use your data

We use your data only to operate the service: to host your event, allow guest uploads, process subscription payments via Stripe, and let you view and download photos. We do not sell your data to third parties. The couple (event owner) is the licensee for personal use of the photos.
