Why we request Google account information
Event organizers can sign in with Google Sign-In or email. Guests who scan a QR code and upload photos never need a Google account or any login.
When you choose “Continue with Google,” Quick Pic QR requests only the basic Google profile information needed to create and secure your organizer account:
- Name — so we can identify you in your dashboard and account settings.
- Email address — to create your account, sign you back in, and send service-related messages (for example, welcome or account notices).
- Profile picture — optionally shown on your account when Google provides one.
We use this Google account data only to authenticate organizers and operate the Quick Pic QR service (create events, manage galleries, view gallery, and download photos). We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to run the service (for example, our database and email provider). Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
